Previous  trucking and maintenance knowledge and be well versed with DOT regulations

Position Responsibilities:


Inventory Management

Review and gather customer inventory levels and reconcile daily

Communicate with sites for corrections as needed and adjust loads

Analyze, evaluate and dispatch in line with customer needs


 


Fuel Dispatch and Pricing

Forecast and set loads for future shifts

Evaluate, adjust and monitor dispatched loads

Price and coordinate daily dispatch of fuel with vendors

Review drivers hours of service ensuring safety and in line with DOT regulations

Prioritize and assign loads by inventory, customer, price, pull points and geography

Dispatch virtual trucks to outside carriers


 


Customer Service

Receive and gather customer orders and communicate instructions to drivers

Ability to defuse situations, research problems and address concerns as needed


 


Truck Maintenance

Track and coordinate required truck maintenance, update and maintain DOT maintenance records

Communicate with drivers and vendors for scheduling required maintenance

Ability to coordinate truck and load changes due to breakdowns and quickly route deliveries to maintain schedule minimizing downtime and maintenance expense


 


Essential Skills and Experience

High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED)

1-2 years Transportation Dispatch experience is preferred

Must have working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Internet, email/scheduling software

Must have working knowledge of DOT regulations

Ability to understand spoken/written English

Reconciles inventories to book records and make adjustments.

 

Recommend processes to improve the management of inventories on and off site.

 

Manage, research, and resolve daily inventory discrepancies, making adjustments as needed to keep inventory accurate.

 

Manage daily replenishments to the DC, and transfer product from the offsite warehouse back to the DC to meet customer demand.

Right Product, Right Place, Right Time


Utilizes statistical forecasting tool (Manugstics) to create weekly shipping forecasts by account at the SKU and Brand Pack levels.  Work with the different models available to optimize the base line forecast.

Incorporate causal factors provided by sales, marketing, and supply chain into the baseline forecast using techniques within Manugistics.  These factors include but are not limited to promotional activities, competitive action, changes in shelf space or DCs, seasonality, displays, etc.
Utilizes statistical forecasting tool (Manugistics) to provide finance and sales with monthly financial flash.
Assists and provides Supply Chain team with forecasts for various projects and sourcing decisions.
Trouble shoots demand related issues.
Creates various ad hoc reports from Manugistics or other systems.


New Product Launches and New Processes:


Participates with all functional teams to help develop and provide pipeline forecasts and other demand related information such as similar accounts forecasts, etc.



Provides final verification and visibility of new DFUS in Manugistics.

 
Lower Total Delivered Costs:


Provides strategic analysis and recommendations to Operations, Finance, Sales, related to demand and long term product, market and channel trends.



Provides weekly and monthly accuracy results at brand pack and sku levels.  Find methods to improve these metrics to gain improvements in planning and reducing inventory needs as they relate to safety stock.

 
Team & People Development:


Elevates the understanding of forecasting process and methodologies throughout the organization.



Develop into a demand planning expert in the use of Manugstics and any associated functions.
Lead internal training including for direct report(s) or co-workers.
Develop new processes and potential new technical enhancements.

Job Description
This role will be responsible for assisting and/or receiving all deliveries for the Data Center.  This includes notifying customers of received gear, updating the receiving log for ASM gear, and un-boxing and staging equipment designated by the DC Manager.This role will be responsible for assisting with the shipping of parts and equipment, accurately recording asset information, maintaining accurate inventories of spare server parts, network equipment, and cables and consumables.  The Asset Manager Associate will process all warranties, including the packaging and shipping of failed parts.  This position will work directly with the Asset Management Team, the local Asset Management Team, Site Services, and Data Center customers,  helping to resolve issues, completing assigned tasks, and communicating via phone and email throughout the day.The person in this position serves as the main point of contact between the customer and the Asset Team, and reports directly to the DC ASM Service Manager.    The position will be managing the day to day assignments of tasks/tickets, will be responsible for updating and scrubbing the Receiving Team’s Queue, will assist with the training of each member of their team, and will be responsible and held accountable for the overall team’s performance.  This includes that established processes and procedures are followed, inventories are maintained and accurately recorded, tickets are routed appropriately and meet SLA terms, and that rapport and trust with the customer are established and maintained.This position will be responsible for understanding and complying with Global Procedures for daily processes, and providing information on regional procedure requirements into Global Procedures to drive consistent business practices.This position will take direction and leadership from the Asset Manager Lead, must work well within a team environment, and be well organized.  General

Responsibilities/Duties

•Fill in as a receiving inspector when needed

SUMMARY:

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Maintenance: Provide vehicles, buildings, company grounds and general

Make recommendations to senior management on programs to improve the maintenance function. Develop and implement a preventive maintenance program for all equipment and facilities that will minimize disruptions in warehouse operations and ensure the maximum useful life of the equipment. Monitor all materials handling equipment (MHE) maintenance activities, making sure that all equipment is serviced as required.

Safety, Sanitation, Security: Enforce established safety, health, stock rotation
contamination and housekeeping policies and procedures to minimize staff injuries,
lost production time, damage and contamination of product. Monitor security
systems and enforce security policies and procedures adhering to all state, federal
and company requirements. Interact with trash hauling and salvage companies to
ensure that services are provided. Operate in accordance with OSHA and other
applicable standards.

Labor Management: Direct the operations of the maintenance work team to achieve
prescribed objectives. In collaboration with HR, maintain a productive work team by creating programs for hiring, training and professional development. Apply sound communication and motivational techniques in supervising, coaching and disciplining associates. Monitor performance to recommend promotions, wage increases and terminations.

Documentation / Reporting: Track building and equipment repair and monitoring
preventive maintenance programs. Responsible for department budget and
controlling expenses.

Purchasing: Purchase parts, supplies, and fuel necessary to perform required
maintenance. Maintain a cost-effective parts replacement program and inventory.
Negotiate, follow up and enforce any maintenance contracts with outside vendors.
